25+ years of international E&P experience in leading and supervising joint venture audits and internal audits worldwide, combined with extensive senior finance and project control experience in complex upstream environments.

More than 13 years of expatriate experience in Egypt and Brazil, working closely with operators, partners, and host-country stakeholders in production sharing environments. Held senior finance leadership roles with DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG / Wintershall Dea, including Finance Manager positions in Brazil, Libya/Algeria (remote), and Egypt, with responsibility for budgeting, accounting, treasury, procurement, IT, and risk management at asset and country level.

Strong involvement in JV governance, partner interactions, and financial oversight of operated and non-operated assets. Extensive hands-on experience as Project Controller, including responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and economic control of the North Idku offshore development project at Suez Oil Company (Egypt).

Deep expertise in project cost control, economic evaluations, liquidity planning, and performance monitoring throughout the project lifecycle. Additional experience in corporate internal and JV auditing with Wintershall Dea, including non-technical audits, JV financial audits at operator sites, and audit team coaching. Strong working knowledge of PSAs, joint venture accounting, budgeting and forecasting, cost and project control, enterprise risk management, and SAP (FI, CO, PS, MM).
