• 18+ years of international E&P experience, including the leadership and supervision of joint venture audits, PSC and cost recovery audits, overhead, supplier and rig intake cost audits, internal audits, and dispute resolution, across South America, North Africa, and Europe, extensive expatriate experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional operating environments.

• Extensive professional background with Wintershall Dea, holding senior roles in joint venture and internal auditing, risk management, business planning, controlling, P&L reporting, liquidity planning, and economic valuations.

​

• Worked for many years in Argentina and subsequently as an expatriate in Germany and the Netherlands, acting as a key interface between local operations and corporate headquarters. Strong capabilities in financial modelling, economic evaluations, and trading-related analyses, including sales and trading contract negotiations, counterparty (credit) risk management, and FX hedging processes.

• Additional experience includes Business Risk Services consultancy with Ernst & Young, as well as earlier roles in internal control design and process auditing. In parallel, entrepreneurial experience running own businesses and acting as an active investor in Italy, Argentina and the United States, strengthening a commercially grounded, investor-oriented perspective.

• Recognised for a highly analytical, modelling-driven yet pragmatic approach, supported by strong programming skills and experience working with large data sets, enabling the effective understanding of complicated cost allocations and the reconciliation of complex financial statements and joint venture billings.
